The video from my climate lecture on November 10, 2009 is now available online

That looks neat...bookmarked for later. Plus I like how you used Vimeo instead of Youtube.
New Zealand tinkering with the climate record.
THIS is the story!
Best video I have seen regarding “global Warming”
I got to the part where he concedes that the earth is warming and that man has contributed to that warming. Click *closed tab*
If you don't mind my inquiry, to whom did you do use this video in a lecture?
You sound like leftwing. Are you a scientist?
You may learn something if you watch the whole thing.
Here is the authors response
I honestly believe that:
1. The world has warmed since 1850 as we have recovered from the little ice age.
2. In a macro sense, we know greenhouse gasses warm the earth, so the temperature sensitivity to their concentration has to be >0. Of course, the warming from incremental trace CO2 may be really, really small, so small as to be lost in random climate noise. It is weird to me that so many people seem to think that one assumption (that it causes some warming) automatically leads to the other (that the warming is really large).
I know this makes political arguments harder because it is more nuanced and cant be related in a 10-second sound byte, which is why I present for an hour and a half.
I think skeptics make a mistake by not acknowledging scientific facts that make the narrative more complex. It just gives the opposition obvious gotchas. Greenhouse gasses do warm the earth. The earth has warmed some in the last 150 years, just as it is always warming and cooling. Reasonable people can disagree, but I am not sure there is any point in fighting this.
What we have to fight is the absurd notion that most or even a lot of past warming is due to manmade Co2, or that manmade CO2 is going to cause some sort of catastrophe in the future.
