I don't know what to say to that. I don't think that many in the Army are scum, certainly no one I've ever met, and I don't think the Army would chose ‘scum’ to be a recruiter. I think your statements are indefensible and shameful.

b. A wound for which the award is made must have required treatment by a medical officer…..”

as notated here: http://www.tioh.hqda.pentagon.mil/Awards/PH1.html

I have yet to see Bogus POTUS acknowledge this event at all! This concerns me as a resident of Arkansas and a citizen of the United States of America!

If you don’t know about this story, it’s tragic! Two recent Boot Camp graduates were serving hometown recruitment duty. Neither man had seen combat duty. They were gunned down Monday morning June the 1st, during broad daylight. This was just outside of the Army Recruitment Center in a well traveled strip mall in Little Rock, Arkansas. I will not dishonor these men by announcing the terrorist’s name.

My hope is that this terrorist is sent to Gitmo (Guantanamo Bay, Cuba) where he now belongs and is water boarded to reveal his hidden agenda.

****Note I previously posted last night, on my local Tea Party Blog here: http://bentonteaparty.ning.com/profiles/blogs/all-american-soldier-murdered before our next Tea Party Meeting tonight. But I must say, there is not enough said in the MSM about this tragedy.

Just being factual and honest. The Arkansas soldiers are some of the worst ones I’ve encountered, trained and/or worked with. You may not like it, but it’s fact.

You are making ignorant assumptions about Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad which are not supported by facts.

Furthermore, there is evidence that the attack was indeed orchestrated. Authorities found evidence that this guy had cased facilities in numerous locations across the Eastern US. The fact that one Jihadist carried out the attack isn’t relevant to that fact.

And the Pentagon was not in a hostile country on September 11th. Moreover, anyone with any real military experience would know that the criteria for Purple Heart do not include that the incident occur in a hostile “country.”

I won’t dignify your stereotyping of servicemen from a particular state with a retort, other than, I am glad I never met anyone like you in MY Marine Corps.

Hey LSU, seen this?

Democrats have had to put the war supplemental to fund the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan on hold because they lack the votes to pass the modified bill that came out of conference. The Democrat leadership has reduced the amount of the supplemental for the troops and tacked on $108 billion in bailout funding for foreign governments through the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

There is a large contingent of far left Democrats who always vote against funding our troops. Given the billions now included for the IMF global bailout, the Republicans are refusing to support the bill.

Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) led the charge to fight the addition of these bailout funds on this “must pass” funding for our troops.

“Clearly the Democratic leadership is having a tough time getting their members to support flawed legislation that reduces funding for our troops from the level originally passed by the House and funds a bailout for foreign nations,” Hensarling said.

“I have led a group of House Republicans urging Democratic leadership to remove this $108 billion foreign bailout paid for by U.S. taxpayers. As we have done time after time, Republicans are eager to support our troops; but we will not stand by and let Democrats wrap pork barrel spending and a global bailout in the American flag.”

But Republicans had more problems with the pork and the IMF global bailout than just the vehicle the Democrats chose. The final conference report not only cut $5 billion from troop funding in order to send the bailout funds to the IMF but the funding would have no restrictions. Any IMF member could apply for the loans including Iran, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, and Burma.

That finally seemed to rankle some Democrats. Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) in a letter to colleagues yesterday said, “We face the very real possibility that some of the world’s worst regimes will benefit from the additional resources provided to the IMF, World Bank and other international institutions, unless the U.S. works vigilantly to deny this assistance.”

As if that weren’t enough to oppose the funding, the New York Times reported on May 27 that Hezbollah is in talks with the IMF about continuing loans to Lebanon should they win the election.

But the crème de la crème: in order to loan the IMF $108 billion, the U.S. will have to borrow the money from other countries, like China.

Republican Whip Eric Cantor spoke about the absurdity of the Democrat plan yesterday.

“Borrowing money from China for a global bailout of the IMF makes no sense, particularly when China itself has not made the same commitment. … The possibility that tax dollars reserved for our military could fall into the hands of terrorists or their supporters is an affront to our troops. The truth is that Democrats currently don’t have the support needed to pass this bill, which is why it has been delayed.”

they were recruiters aide/assistant. Pls reread what I wrote. The Army Recruiters will put in anyone with a pulse, that is why they have waivers. The Army is filled with the waiver-babies. I'd say 1/4 of the soldiers are scum, i would not hire, associate with nor acknowledge I know or served with. Maybe you should try serving in todays Army. I did active duty Marine Corps back in the late 80s. There are a many "problem-child" in the Army more so then ever before.

I've never seen as many crybaby whiners in our ranks, even the jr. NCOs!

It makes me shake my head and it all begins with the parents allowing the kids to play all those Wii and Playstation gameboy stuff all day and night (though, you all won't ADMIT to it..and blame "other parents, not me").

Obviously, you never worked with the Arkansas Guard or Reserves..besides, you did 4 yrs in the USMCR, why not the 6? There were no 4 yr enllistments for reservists, only 6. I know, I did Recruiters Aide out of bootcamp in 1986 and during my senior year of high school, literaly lived at the recruiting station learning about the Corps.

Though you were a Marine, you were a reservist, part-time...big differance, you don't get the true full value of Marine Active Duty, Hollywood.

I can accept that there might be some bad apples, it’s a big army and a big country. I can also accept that historically, armys have been a dumping ground for many of society’s undesirables. I can understand your frutration and bitterness, much of modernity’s course is incongruent with traditional notions of honor, duty, and civility, but I would hate to you see you unnecessarily castigate the Army who tries to make men and soldiers out of what they receive after 18 years of no direction.

The IslamOfascists who declared war on us are mainly a non orginazed army who who don’t wear uniforms as did the enemy in WWII.

The American born, Muslim Named and trained is just as much an enemy as one who kills Americans in Iraq or Afghn.

You may have served in Iraq as many of my relatives have and still are but they understand this is not the same kind of war where the enemy is a regular army, uniform wearing combatiant who understands the internation rules of warfare.

They are also living in American Cities and have or are trying to develop more attacks on American soil

The two terrorists who flew the plane into the Pentagon were living 6 miles from where I am sitting in San Diego as regular residents except they were the enemy and killed
Americans just as the IslamOfascists do in Iraq, AFghn, and have done in London, Spain, etc.

The American soldier who was killed and the other who was wounded are just as much victims of the war whether Ak, Iraq or Afghn.

Yes.

Alright, it was bad enough that you smear the U.S. Army and YES, I have already notified the Admin Moderator, but when you start smearing the Marines, you have spit in my face.

FYI, genius, reservists are serving and have served in the military NOW and throughout American history. My father was an Army reservist who served under Black Jack Pershing from chasing Poncho Villa along the Mexican border to WWI in France.

And before you start dumping on me, I walked point for the Fifth Marines in Nam in '69 & '70. And they don't make wheelbarrows big enough to haul my balls around in.

The Army artillery and the U.S.A.F. air strikes saved my bacon on more than one occasion and if not for a U.S.N. Corpsman I wouldn't be alive today.

So I suggest you keep your “stereotypical” smears of any service to yourself. Because all you have done is make a total IDIOT of yourself.

Semper Fi,
Kelly
