Here is video of the Fox News All-Stars tonight, September 1, 2008, where Mort Kondracke tried to use the news that Sarah Palin's daughter is expecting as a platform to attack her for supporting abstinence education in public schools. Bill Kristol was outraged and let Kondracke know it. . . . (see video at link)

There is nothing about Bristol’s conduct that provides a basis for legitimate attack on Governor Palin.
Palin obviously is a loving and good mother who would teach her children values and morals.
It is not her conduct that led to Bristol’s pregnancy, but Bristol’s own conduct and choices. Bristol is responsible for her own conduct and she has taken responsibility therefore.
Sarah is reponsible for loving her child and grandchild, which she has done and is doing. That is all.
Mort, Obambi’s teen-aged mother was pregnant before she married as well. Does that reflect on his character?
I am looking forward to seeing the large, loving, robust Palin family move into Number One Observatory Circle.
This will be the most vibrant, beautiful, happy and energetic family ever to occupy that house.
The Palins remind me of the family of Teddy Roosevelt, whose children brought fun and mischief to the White House.
What a refreshing thing it will be to see this delightful prolife family occupy Number One Observatory Circle.
They may not come right out and say it, but it will be implied at every turn.

That was a mild exchange compared to the CNN/Kyra Phillips explosion this afternoon....btw, the video of that incident on youtube doesn’t include the lead in segment by Phillips which is the outrage.
The thing that this video and the CNN video have in common is the word ‘abstinence’ which is means this is likely a talking point that the dems want to echo chamber. I can’t prove its a dem talking point, but I suspect it is even though BHO said the kids are off limits!!! Don’t believe the BHO hype!

Idiot Kondracke can’t see the difference in Palin doing her job as Governor and her job as Mom. As Goverenor of Alaska she proposed the best way to spend public money in public schools. Sex education was not on her agenda for public schools. What she taught her children at home, Kondracke has no idea.
The newsbuster video is not complete. It omits about 30% of Phillips diatribe. I only point that out because she went completely out of the way to manufacture a smear. Her phrasing was similar to Kondracke! Unfortunately, i don’t have the complete video to post.
Similar situation:
I just watched the video someone posted of Wolf Blitzer asking Cheney about his lesbian daughter having a baby. It is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Cheney is so obviously pissed and Blitzer gets so freaking scared. He’s literally about to crap himself. Cheney is my all-time hero I think.
So like the Kerry and Edwards attempts to slime Dick Cheney for his daughter.
This stuff has its cost to the Left. Its true believers are behind it but it drives off the decisive ring of more reasonable voters.
Our 15-year-old daughter and I were just talking about this. She said, “And they’re blaming her mother for what she did?” She just shook her head. And then she says, “It’s not like they’re computers (teen children). They don’t do necessarily what you program them to do.”
“What would they do if their teen daughters were pregnant?” “Oh. Nevermind. Their daughters have been on birth control since they were 12. For cramps, you know.”

I make no jusdgment about the validity of the charge. But it will be raised and it will have to be defended. It will be used to detract from her real message and has to reckoned with.

I tell you though I gained respect for Juan Williams tonight denouncing Kos on O'Reilly and talking about how Obama needs to do the same. Juan was dead-on... well for once. Heh.
Hasn’t it been the libs who have told women all along that indeed they could have it all?? You can have it all, so go for it ladies. So we do and then THEY criticize us for it? Hopefully this subject will be verboten pretty soon because no one can control what their kids ultimately do,I don’t care how many abstinence sermons you preach them. That, however, doesn’t mean you quit trying to inculcate solid values and morals, it just means it doesn’t always work.

I was actually surprised by Bill. I told my wife — who doesn’t watch Special Report all that often — that I haven’t seen Bill Kristol that animated and passionate when in disagreement with another panel.
I think Mort was really surprised that he got slammed by essentially the entire panel, including Mara.
