Here is my take on this.

I will be there, in uniform, as a decorated war veteran. Hence, I will not be wearing a GOE arm band. Should any protestor attempt to deface any monument I am near, I will do what I can to stop them, and hold them for arrest.

The GOE folks are asking that their people not interact with the protestors, but call on police to do that. I don't feel bound by that restriction.

We are going to be dealing with some nasty folks. I intend to use appropriate force, only if needed, to prevent vandalism. I know several of the names on that Wall who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I do not intend to permit some commie pinko bastard to deface it.

Thank you for your service to our country. I support you in this and will be praying for you. I have such contempt for those who would do something like that. IMO, they're worthless pieces of human refuse.

France is falling AGAIN?!?!

They don't publicize it, but those riots of the "yutes" have never gone away.

Something is out of whack here, the link to DC Indymedia gives me a 403 error report. It was working when I went to there a few days ago. Do you think that the traffic from here was too much to handle??
