Actually she's SW Asian, Persian or something. Women everywhere are quite beautiful but women in the islamic world face a harsh life that tends to destroy their beauty. Remember the Afghan girl from the famous national geographic photo? As a child she was clearly headed for becoming an amazing beauty but as an adult she became elderly in her mid 30s lo early 40s. It's sad really.

I watched the documentary where they found her.The way she looked was just tragic. She had such haunting beauty in the first photo.

But National Geographic had an twenty-whatever years article on her and how they finally found her again. I don't recall any pictures in it where she was smiling.
