DUmmie Demoralization is proceeding apace as you can see in this THREAD titled, “I'm Starting to Just Not Care Anymore - I'm Just All Cared Out.” This thread follows on the heels of DUmmie Doohickie giving up on his highly entertaining “I Believe” threads. The big difference between DUmmie Doohickie and the author of this thread, DUmmie MaryH, is that at least Doohickie left on a positive note while MaryH sounds completely demoralized. Also I think DUmmie MaryH is an AUTHENTIC DUmmie while I have my suspicions that Doohickie is really a Freeper Troll who took a bunch of DUmmies along for a ride on his “I Believe” threads. Let us now lead off with the lament of MaryH who sounds like she is just giving up on politics. As usual, the demoralized DUmmie lamentations are in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your Tom Servo humble correspondent is in the [brackets]:

I have quit watching the News where I used to watch it all the time. I don't feel like anything I do will make any difference so why even try.
We have lost Congress
We have lost the Judiciary
We have lost the law
We have lost our right to religion.
And I posted how I felt here and promptly got checked out by the CIA or the FBI. Fortunately, I probably have the most boring record in history.

Excuse me, but the Christian church is NOT involved in Charity. They are too busy with political activism, and justifying racial wars to gain mineral wealth. Also, they only recieved 2.2 Billion dollars of our tax money through "faith based iniatives" in 2004. There will be over 40 Billion available in 2005. All this money is without any accountablility. I feel that any donation to a Christian church today would only buy assult weapons for the KKK. I used to call myself a "Christian" but I refuse to do so any more. I will not be associated with those thugs any longer.

There is no restriction on freedom of religion in the USA. Try a Muslim country if you want to see what restrictions on freedom of religion really look like. Hyperbole does our side no good.

There is no state religion in the United States. There may be a large cultural compenent of Americans that is Evangelical, but thatis not a state religion.

Soo much effort was put into that last f*cked up campaign. Bush ads were aired during the most popular shows and sporting events. Kerry ads were aired on the F*CKING GAME SHOW CHANNEL. I still cannot believe that to this day. Let me say it one more time. THE F*CKING GAME SHOW CHANNEL. The bush republithugs have attacked every worthwhile democratic institution without any meaningful response. What few voices were out there were deafened by the cheers of church people.

Actually, what was even more entertaining were the threads that were posted in the Meeting Room forum by the astrologers doing natal charts for Bush, Kerry, etc., along with charts for protests, the inauguration, etc. etc. This group actually has its own forum over there now. Can't remember where it is. It's a sub-group of one of the new groups they created. Check it out some time. They have tarot card readers and God knows what else.
Not surprising that the astrologers were predicting a Kerry win. One of them said that she wasn't sure, but that she saw Kerry's "presence" at the inauguration, in addition to Bush's "presence", which she took to mean that Kerry would be the one who was sworn in.
Isn't there something in the book of Isaiah where God basically mocks astrologers, saying something to the effect of, "Let the astrologers come forth! They can't save you. They can't even save themselves!"

My first instinct is that it's a hoax, but if it's not, it is very sad.

Not a chance! I have spent the last 25 years supervising construction. Guys with muscles in their Sh*t. It's the quiet one's that you pay attention to. Braggarts are just that. Confront them and they go whining to their mommies. Chances are face to face this guy would wet his pants. Never met a liberal who actually wanted to take a swing. Those that did were generally to drunk to put up much of an offense. They like to look in the mirror and admire and congratulate themselves to much. after all, they are the enlightened majority don't ya know. LOL
WOW! All I can say is... but for the grace of God....
I'm so impressed at how polite and HUMAN we are at Free Republic. Here some DU person that we don't know, and probably would disagree with 99% of the time, passes away--and we feel genuine sorrow at the loss. We know that this was a real human being, and he left behind real people with real feelings who cared about him.

I was thinking maybe as a means of being dramatic and getting attention. My ex husband would do stupid stuff like that when he was drunk. He would have someone call relatives in another state and say he was dead. Once, after we were already divorced and I was already remarried (to a wonderful man, I might add), my ex went out west somewhere and had someone call my daughter and say he was dead. Needless to say, my daughter was devastated. She called us with the news and my husband took over and told her he would find out what happened and where he was. Well, he couldn't find any proof anywhere but my ex turned up a few days later and swore up and down he hadn't done it but he had done things like that before so I knew he had tried to fake his own death once again just to get attention and see what reaction he was going to get. It was just a really stupid thing to do but he did it several times. But in this case, its looking like it might be real. But what a weird thing for a mother to do who has just lost her child. My mother is already gone but if I was to die, I can't imagine my daughter getting on FR first thing and posting my death. Of course DU was probably the most important thing in this poor souls life so it seemed to the mother like the first thing to do. But its all very strange.
Thats true but the idea of DU types getting in power is just too scary to think about. I have read alot of their stuff that doesn't make it to the DUmmyFUnnies because its not funny. Its just plain scary. They really want President Bush and all of us dead or at least in prison. I have no doubt if they got in a position to implement it, they would. They want rid of conservatives and have talked about conservatives slowly dying out until theres nothing left but liberals. I'm sure Hitler had his dreams of ridding society of certain kinds of humanity, too and then got in a position where he actually did it. These people are very dilusional, just like Hitler was. Its chilling.
What the poor saps over there don't understand is what they really want, in the name of "America," is a true socialist state!

All that's happened to me when I go there is I get alerts from my spyware. Have hubby install a good spyware program. Betting the DUbie Brothers also brag that they don't have any corporate sponsors (snicker).
