Only if we do it again.

They should also count their blessings that we didn't drop more A bombs and exterminate them all.
Unit 731 was worse than the Nazis for sheer horror, Nanking, Kempeitai, comfort women of Korea enslaved, Bataan Death March, Hell Ships for POWs, use of POWs as slaves in mines. The Chichijima incident where Japs cannibalized POWs. The murder of the Wake island defenders.
All of those are war crimes.
Trump should remind them we still have Enola Gay laying around in a museum, in fantastic condition. We can dust her off anytime you feel froggy.
They should be more concerned about the present(Fukushima)than the past.
Nope. Not a war crime. They ended the war without taking years and millions of casualties to defeat Japan.
Go eff off japan. We frigging rebuilt your ass and you pull this crap.
ESAD
Japan itself was one YUGE war crime before August 1945 and we (well, our government anyway) forgave them without an apology.
Society for Requiring the Admission of Historic Responsibility of the US Government for Dropping Atomic Bombs on Japan
SRAHRUSGDABJ is not Japan anymore than the ACLU is America.
The ‘Society for Requiring the Admission of Historic Responsibility of the US Government for Dropping Atomic Bombs on Japan’ now equals ‘Japan’?
Slurp my butt, Tojo.
We’ll do that about the same time you admit that the Rape of Nanking was the worst war crime of the war.
Neither the Hiroshima nor Nagasaki nuclear bombing was a “crime”. Invading Japan would have cost hundreds of thousands of US casualties, and millions of Japanese casualties - far more than the bombings cost.
WW2 was total war, and civilian casualties were simply part of the equation. The Japanese were ruthless butchers for the most part, and if Japan could have landed atomic bombs on the US it would have done so without hesitation. Japan certainly slaughtered countless civilians with no compunction.
The nuclear bombing of Japan was a regrettable necessity - nothing more.
The Morning Star is the only socialist daily newspaper published in Great Britain. It has a long and proud history.Originally called The Daily Worker, the Morning Star was founded by the Communist Party of Great Britain and first published on 1 January 1930.
The bombs saved a lot more Japanese lives than American lives.
Also saved at least half of Japan from Soviet occupation.
So the moron MacCarthur said he could take all of Japan with 66,000 casualties, with 25% fatal?
Okinawa is small compared to all of Japan. On Okinawa, US personnel losses amounted to over 82,000 casualties, including non-battle casualties (psychiatric, injuries, illnesses) of whom over 12,500 were killed or missing. Battle deaths were 4,907 Navy, 4,675 Army, and 2,938 Marine Corps personnel. Several thousand personnel who died indirectly (from wounds and other causes) at a later date are not included in the total.
My mother told me Hiroshima saved thousands of AMERICAN lives. She called the event God’s life-saving blessing.
For decades they have been brainwashing our children in public schools with guilt trips about this. The child abusers, aka teachers, read the kids books such as The Paper Crane, etc. and do little “activities” like making their own paper cranes, to instill guilt and shame within the minds of their young victims.
Why are reading this socialist crap on Memorial Day weekend?
PEARL HARBOR.
‘nuff said, socialist wimps.
The two atom bombs cost 110,000 Japanese lives.
The fire bombing of Tokyo on March 30, 1945 killed 140,000 lives in one night.
The atom bombs saved one million American casualties and over 5 million Japanese dead, if we invaded in the spring of 1946.
Considering the Japs started it, and the innumerable atrocities they visited on the world, and our POWs, these “peace protesters” can get bent.
