There are this many self employed folks??
For all the others have the taxes ALREADY REMOVED FROM THEIR CONTROL by their employers.
I seem to remember Bill Clinton got 42% of the popular vote in ‘92.
What was going on when George Soros predicted the exact opposite of what happened? Soros said that Trump would win a landslide in the POPULAR vote but lose massively in the electoral college. Now he is apparently backing a switch to the popular vote.
“The article reads like a 5 th grader wrote it...”
Nothing unusual about that in the current environment.
“The President is chosen by the states. It is not a representative institution.”
Of course you are right but only a small percentage actually understand that. Most think that when they vote for a name on a ballot they are voting for that person as president, they have never known that they are actually voting for electors. The actual presidential election does not happen until the electoral college meets. Someone recently asked me if he was right in thinking that “this electoral college thing” is something new! He said he didn’t remember hearing about it before.
There is no "coming together" with the Left. As if further evidence is needed (although much more is sure to come), there is no tolerance -- none -- toward anyone or anything (e.g., the results of the last election) that disagrees with the agenda and totalitarian ideology of the Left.
By his many recent actions and his words, Donald Trump clearly understands this, no doubt because, unlike the Left, he loves America and abhors the thought of "fundamentally changing" our system of government and our values.
The Left must be stopped ... and we will soon have a President who understands this and appears committed to do so.
“Soros said that Trump would win a landslide in the POPULAR vote but lose massively in the electoral college.”
Do you remember the propaganda media going on and on about the “Electoral Blue Wall” that assured Hillary’s victory? This was based on the certainty that large cities in states such as Pennsylvania and Michigan would be able to stuff ballot boxes sufficiently with Democrat votes to overcome non-urban voters’ Republican ones. They didn’t count on the sort of enthusiasm Trump created.
Unless the Progressives can con Americans into giving up the protections the Electoral college offers it’s possible they won’t get back in the White House for decades, assuming Trump does something about America’s institutionalized voter fraud.
