In my family tree, not one owned slaves. On my grandmother’s side, her grandfather lost a leg and three of his brothers lost their lives in the Civil War.
The only organization that I know of that still exists as a major power today, that was active in slavery, Jim Crow laws, racist and anti-civil rights legislation is the Democrat Party.
In all fairness, reparations should be made, paid for by the DNC.

If Glover can prove he, his parents or his grandparents were ever owned by me or anyone, then he deserves that mule. Otherwise, he can shut up. BTW, poor little down trodden disadvantaged Danny’s parents were postal workers and his mother was a college graduate.
Glover can start writing checks now.

Heck give them all a trillion dollar Zimbabwe bill, that’s just pocket change to an American.
You might look to Muslims for reparations; nonbelievers were rounded up then as they are now and sold into slavery. Glover might ask why Islam did not come to America with the slave ships and look in the mirror and thank God that his ancestors came to America for whatever reason.
What exactly do we owe you Danny? More money? Another limousine?

I think it is only right that the families of the hundreds of thousands of Union soldiers that were killed and maimed fighting for the freedom of slaves demand reparations of the descendents of those slaves, and maybe agitators like Glover who became rich off of White moviegoers might look for reparations from the people who were really responsible for the majority of slavery..........other Africans and muslim slavers.

My Black neighbor, a stellar Naturalized Citizen, immigrated here, from Canada. His Grandfather moved to Toronto, from the West Indies. I wonder how much reparation money he should get ? /s
Actually that is exactly what the New Marcus Garvey Movement espouses.
I know its touchy, but it would behoove us to consider it versus having a war, that albeit the outcome would be of no doubt, would still devastate our economy, allow our foreign enemies to move unimpeded and kill millions of all races and ethnicities.
I also wish to add, like many others here, my family paid reparations in blood.
