Bottom line is - we are in uncharted waters. I can’t tell you what will happen any more than anyone else. History isn’t much of a guide here.

Precisely what will happen? That is likely unknowable.

But uncharted waters are still wet. Ships are still ships. People are still people. Winds are still winds. Passions are still passions. We can foresee the general trajectory, but not always the safe harbors and shoals.

The best you can do here is to put yourself, your community, your county, and your state in the strongest position possible to withstand the federal storm that is to come.

I'm reading a book called "The Black Swan" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb where basically Black Swan events happen due to unknown factors. 9/11 was one. If you want my opinion, "Bronco Bama" (I can't say his name, I'm afraid of a stroke or coronary) is a Black Swan, the 2004 Senate election was one, same with the 2008 election and the biggest Black Swan of all is his re-election. Yes, there are many known events such as the minorities largely supporting him, election fraud, single mom's who look to Uncle Sugar for everything, but even so, there are/were unknown factors that gave him a hand too and Bronco Bama is a Black Swan event. Now, with all of this crap, we are headed into Black Swan territory so be prepared to see a lot of them.
