Romney’s backers concede the election with new talking point: voter fraud (Watch your keyboard)
Red Green and Blue - Enviromental Politics from across the Spectrum ^ | November 5, 2012 | Scott Cooney

Posted on 11/05/2012 8:10:28 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

I’m a regular Facebook user, like many folks in my age bracket. I also follow politics, including Jeremy’s great posts here on Red Green and Blue and often “Like” and share them on Facebook. As a result, Facebook puts a good deal of political ads on my sidebar. Over the last 2 days I’ve seen a big reversal in those ads…there are many more showing up now talking about voter fraud, rather than just bashing President Obama. Given that they have the absolute worst possible pictures of Democrats in them, these new ads are clearly sponsored by some right-wing group. Check this one out, with the worst picture you’ve ever seen of Attorney General Eric Holder:

Jeez, the guy looks like Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian had a baby. Is he choking Admiral Ackbar with that finger? But here’s what it makes me think:

Romney backers have conceded tomorrow’s election.

Here’s why. Instead of urging people to get out to vote for their candidate or generally bashing Obama & Biden, which they’ve been doing now for about four years in the ads on my sidebar, this last spate of ads has a far different purpose. It’s to plant the seeds of continued distrust and disgruntlement with their supporters.

Here’s the bottom line. The New York Times 538 election site, HuffPost’s election center, Real Clear Politics, and Electoral-vote, all of which aggregate polls, weight them based on sample size, and average them to produce a scientific estimate of what’s going to happen in tomorrow election, all say that Romney’s chances are basically nil. Here’s NYT’s forecast:

Recall that to win, President Obama only needs 270 electoral votes. In the NYT forecast, which has him losing Florida’s 29 electoral votes, he still wins by a large margin.

So what’s a party that obstructed Obama’s agenda to the best of their ability for four years, using the filibuster 3x more than any other Senate in history, to do when everything they’ve done, all the money they’ve got poured into their coffers from oil barons…..all amounts to nothing?

Start talking voter fraud and make everyone disgusted. That way, when Romney loses tomorrow, the right can say “we told you so…it was because Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder allowed too much voter fraud.”

Don’t believe me? Consider this…voter fraud is extremely rare. Kind of like getting killed by a rabid monkey rare. In Pennsylvania, Mike Turzai, the Pennsylvania House majority leader, said they passed a voter ID law that was intended to allow Romney to win Pennsylvania by turning away low income voters who may not have a driver’s license, even though state officials actually said, in court, that they had no evidence whatsoever of voter fraud [PDF] in the past, and didn’t expect it to happen in this election. (Turzai’s spokesman later changed the subject…uh, I mean tried to justify Turzai’s comments but failed to erase history and keep his boss out of hot water).

So what happens when you click on that horrid image of the Vader-Calrissian child above? Here’s the landing page:

Quote: “I know that voter fraud is a widespread problem that will affect the outcome of the 2012 Presidential Election”.

And, not to be outdone, here’s Fox/Faux News on the scary mean voter fraud that’s about to be perpetrated on the American people by the left!

Here’s a particularly hilarious one, from the Facebook group started in November 2008 called “I will not vote for Obama in 2012″:

By changing the subject, Romney’s backers seem to have abandoned him during his last stand (even though they supported him through lying about clean energy, lying about the auto bailout, and flipflopping his way through, well, every policy issue ever). One can only imagine that the headlines tomorrow across right wing media, including newspapers (Wall Street Journal, New York Post, every city’s daily Examiner paper), Fox/Faux News, crackly AM radio stations with one douchebag talking head wannabe-Limbaugh after another, Clear Channel, and the rest. It won’t be about Obama winning an election, that’s for sure…it’ll be more hate-based questions about the validity of our 44th President.

After all, the birthers needed something new, right?

There is nothing new about voting fraud when it comes to Democrats, but even with the fraud, Romney won’t be the one conceding the election. That will be Obama’s task, and the best one he will have had since being elected.

Roll in upwards of 30 million illegal's, all aided and abetted by big biz, and government insiders from both parties...Illegals who work, vote, collect benefits, welfare, choke off our health care, hospitals, etc...Compromising and undermining our electoral process....

Like printing flooding the country with counterfeit trillions backed by nothing.....We did that too...

They are always confident because all they ever hear is the pro-Democrat propaganda on TV. I remember the 2004 election when I argued with a left wing nutbag about who would win, and she was just so sure that Kerry would win because she just KNEW that everyone hated Bush so much. She almost crapped herself when I said it will be Bush in a landslide. She called me crazy. Well, why should 2012 be any different?

Does anyone else remember the demoscats suggesting that obama should be able to take charge immediately after the 2008 elections, rather than wait until January?

I cannot wait to watch these fools lose their minds tomorrow night and in the days that follow.

I predict that we'll hear the liberals screaming that Romney "doesn't have a mandate" after the election.

Wait a minute...

Hasn't Eric Holder and his flying monkeys at DOJ emphatically denied that "...there is no credible evidence of widespread voter fraud anywhere in the last 4 years!"

What changed?

Another delusional author. He says voter fraud is “Rare”. I think he knows that his side cheats on a massive scale, and he is worried that people might catch on to it. Therefore attack the messenger. That is a typical strategy for these people. The reason they are different is because they believe that the end justifies the means. And therefore there are no rules in there minds. When you see the stadiums empty for Obama and Full for Romney then it will be mighty suspicious if Obama wins in said state.
