Ryan is a good man, but does not redeem the abortionist/homosexualist statist Romney
Aug 11, 2012 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 08/11/2012 4:42:48 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Except for his unfortunate go along to get along support of TARP, bailouts, stimulus spending and the increased credit limit, etc, Ryan is a pretty good choice. Probably the best choice of the RINOS that were on Romney's short list. I support Ryan for the vice presidency. Wish he were at the top of the ticket, though.

But I still cannot and will not support the grand father of ObamaCare. Romney still loves and brags about his bastard brainchild, RomneyCare, even today when he knows what an anti-liberty socialist POS it is.

And the fact that he advocated that abortion should be safe and legal in America for over three decades of his adult lifetime and even advocated that Roe v Wade should be supported and sustained as settled law precludes any consideration whatsoever by this pro-life Christian for Myth Romney for the presidency.

And the fact that he boasted that he would be better for "gay rights" than Ted Kennedy, and proved it just increases my resistance.

That, and his penchant for gun control, his continuing support for global warming, gays in the scouts, gays in the military, and his record of appointing liberal judges makes it all but impossible for me to support him.

Lastly, we're having a bit of changeover on our moderator staff. At least two moderators resigned this afternoon after I flatly refused to rein in a so-called anti-Mormon "bigot" on FR. Well, if being in opposition to false prophets and false prophecy makes a Christian believer a bigot, then I guess I'm a bigot. I've posted before that I flat do not believe that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. Nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. The Christian bible warns us to be weary of false prophets and that I am. Romney being the presumptive Republican nominee does not change that fact.

That is the point, Bishop Romney’s values are the destroyer of souls, he is the man who wants to seduce you and all peoples, away from Christ, he has devoted his life to that mission.

Please. Romney is not going to be having mind melds in the White House, or issuing sermons about Joseph Smith on the Saturday Presidential Fireside chats, or going to Temple in Utah to conspire to strip Americans of their Constitutional rights.

Did he do these things when he headed up the Olympics? As Governor of Mass?

No. The goal is to get Obama out, devote all our efforts in electing Constitutional conservatives to the House and Senate over the coming election cycles, and then, with more support assured of conservatives in power, have a true conservative run for President next time.

This web site compares the teachings of the LDS Church to the Bible using the teachings of the Catholic Church to interpret the Bible. It has received the Fidelity Green Light Award for its Excellence in Catholic Fidelity from CatholicCulture.org.

I am a fiscal conservative and tea party, it is you that is a partial conservative, not me.

Your desire to remove social conservatism would doom fiscal conservatism, you truly are blind to how social liberalism, and socon is divided in the vote.

The democrats win the vast majority of social liberals, the more social liberals you create, then the more they will take what they want from you with the vote.

Interesting approach. I’m in California, so I think I’ll be switching my vote from write-in Republican conservative over to you.

Mormons are tiny in numbers, and you think that they would become sudden liberals and start voting homosexual, and pro-abortion, and for fiscal insanity, and for the very anti-Mormon democrats?

What does that say about them, or at least what you think of them?

Why don’t you vote for my hunting hound Tex?

Tex is dead now - but he will still get more votes in November than any Obamatool you worship and will vote for.

Here's the thing: Picking Ryan was predictable. Romney is so flawed that he had to pick someone that conservatives would love to even hope to compete. It was the same with McCain and Palin.

But here's the other thing: Romney doesn't mean it. Even if, and it's a big if, even IF he doesn't throw Ryan under the bus at some point and happens to win the election does anyone REALLY think his presidency is going to conservative at all??Really??

Nope, it's going to Obama lite. March a little slower to the cliff. It's Lucy holding the football and saying...go ahead conservatives, vote for the GOP one more time...this time for SURE we'll govern as conservatives would like us too.

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me a million times I must be a total moron.

I agree that Mormonism is a false non-Christian religion, but the Muslim religion is worse. Muslims are actively killing Christians in Arab and African countries, which the mainstream media chooses to ignore. And our current president is either a huge sympathizer or a Muslim. He supports the Muslim brotherhood and other known Muslim terrorist organizations.

Anyone who would call the Muslim call to prayer the most beautiful sound in the world is warped by this religion. I can think of a lot more beautiful sounds in the world.

Jim, were stuck with Romney for now, but I'm glad to have your board so that we can keep telling the truth, especially after Romney is elected. I'd like to see a primary challenge to Romney in four years. Someone conservatives could get behind wholeheartedly.

YOu remind me of the Uber “Christians” of the 60’s that were convinced that if John F. Kennedy were to become President...he’d take his marching orders straight from the Pope in Rome.

Their arguement 50 years ago is as silly and obtuse as yours is now.

Not sure just why, but your post took me back to a brief scene in the movie, "Last of the Mohicans."

The British Officer Duncan Heyward:
"And who empowered these provincials to pass judgment upon England's policies in her own colonies? To come and go without so much as a "by your leave!"

The lovely and fiercely independent Miss Cora Munro: "They do not live their lives 'by your leave.' ... They hack it out of the wilderness with their own two hands, burying their dead and their children along the way!"
