The Massachusetts House has unanimously passed a bill that would allow women to sell their babies to the highest bidder. The bill passed under the guise of LGBTQ rights. Under the state’s current laws, paid and traditional surrogacy is permitted — but for traditional surrogacy, the would-be “parents” must adopt the baby and, therefore, pass a background check. Additionally, at least one of the parents must be related to the infant. Live Action explains:

Inside every door, there’s a great story. “Pretty soon the school bell rang,” resident Bill Pool said, “knew right then, gonna be tardy again.” Inside Bill’s room is a book full of his poems. It sits right next to the shadowbox full of World War II medals. “I think he’s a great man,” Bill’s daughter Carolyn George said. “He still has love,” Bill’s other daughter, Jeanie Price added. Bill Pool enlisted in the Army in 1941 and, after basic training, was off to the heart of the ground...

Are various members of Congress, who paid some $17 million in taxpayer funds to silence people who brought sexual misconduct claims against them, now going to be investigated, tried, and convicted of felonies, like President Trump? After all, they didn’t report those payments as campaign contributions. That’s the suggestion that has been raised in a congressional hearing. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against President Donald Trump over business reporting issues, described as a “hush money” case because of testimony from ex-porn star Stormy Daniels, likely will be overturned, witnesses have told Congress. And given the multiple constitutional errors allowed...

A very wise libertarian politician in Melbourne, Australia, said to me once that the most dangerous thing is for all the guns to be in one set of hands. Over concentration of gun ownership in government run police forces in Australia leads to police arrogance and incompetence. 7 News reported yesterday about an incident in New South Wales: "Two police officers have been charged with assaulting a 92 year old man who suffered a broken arm and serious bruising when they tried to arrest him. It happened in January but the two constables were only stood down today. It's already...

In a press conference that should have focused on the Boston Celtics’ strategies for Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks, the discourse took an unexpected detour into identity politics, thanks to a question from Vince Goodwill of Yahoo Sports. Mazzulla, however, was not playing along. The question posed to Joe Mazzulla was loaded, aimed not at the game but at stirring racial narratives. Goodwill asked, “For the first time since 1975, this is the NBA Finals with two black head coaches. Given the plight sometimes of black head coaches in the NBA, do you think this...

They’re not even trying to hide it anymore. After a week where the polls didn’t give the Biden-Harris ticket the bump Democrats were hoping for, Vice President Kamala Harris escalated her criticism of presumptive GOP presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump on Saturday, arguing his conviction on 34 questionable felony counts in a Manhattan court ought to be “disqualifying.” The speech, given at a Democratic Party dinner Saturday in Detroit, gave Harris the opportunity to up the rhetoric over what she termed Trump’s “attacks” on the justice system, according to Politico. “You know why he complains? Because the reality...

Representative Thomas Massie has stepped forward with a proposition that could potentially halt Steve Bannon’s impending imprisonment. His plan involves urging Speaker Mike Johnson to rescind the congressional subpoena issued against Bannon and to formally disavow what he refers to as the “J6 witch hunt.” This development follows a recent decision by a Washington, D.C. judge to deny Bannon’s appeal, mandating him to surrender to prison by July 1. The decision, handed down by United States District Court Judge Carl Nichols, rejected Bannon’s plea to stay his sentence while he prepares to take his appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court....
