I saw this bumper sticker a day or so ago and would like to order a few. Anyone remember where it was or how to order it? Thanks Freepers!

A word of advice. Take down your yard signs. Peel off your bumper sticks. The angry left will be angrier than ever and is looking for scapegoats. Don't be a scapegoat.

A quick little vanity because we have a need to know. In Missouri, the lack of yard signs compared to Bush-Kerry race in simply amazing. We see them here and there but I would say here it is at least 80% less than previous races. Bumper stickers are probably 70% less than before. Is it fear of vandalism, apathy? I apologize in advance for this vanity but it would be an asset to hear what it is like in other states right now. Some of my neighbors who usually are big Dim supporters and always have signs... do not have...

Sorry if this vanity is not appropriate. I am passionate about this election. I know we should be doing a lot more than just this...but, Does planting a McCain-Palin Yard Sign and applying a McCain-Palin Bumper Sticker help the cause at all? What's your experience? Has there been any studies on this?

Anybody know where we can get some Palin-McCain bumper stickers?

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama prepared to name his running mate, perhaps as early as Friday, from a small field o0f candidates that included at least one dark horse.

No kidding. The Spalding group is giving away One Million “NoBama” Bumper stickers. All you have to do is send a self addressed stamped envelope for the sticker. Details on the free offer:

WASHINGTON (AFP) - \Barack Obama is trouncing John McCain in the race for the White House -- at least in sales of T-shirts, badges, baseball caps and other campaign merchandise. "Everyone is going for Obama," a sidewalk vendor whose stand was smothered in Obama and McCain T-shirts, along with garb for visitors to Washington, told AFP. "We sell about 70 percent Obama stuff -- way more than McCain," said the vendor, who asked not to be named. Obama-embroidered baseball caps sat in the center of the stand; the absence of a McCain equivalent was striking. "I don't think our wholesaler...

Drivers who sport bumper and window stickers on their vehicles are more prone to road rage, say researchers at Colorado University. The researchers have released a new study which discovered that motorists with personalized items on a vehicle are more likely to be aggressive drivers. Assessing the behavior of 500 drivers, they found that in the face of provocations such as being stuck in traffic, owners of cars covered with stickers and trinkets -- known as territory markers -- were more likely to act on their anger by flashing lights, tailgating and blocking other drivers. Other major findings: Drivers with...

The Journal of Applied Social Psychology provided a little illumination lately to understanding road rage. In a study by Drs. Szlemko, Benfield, Bell, Deffenbacker, & Troup (which sounds more like a remarkably diverse law firm than a medical study team), researchers found that the more bumper stickers on a car, the more likely the driver is to behave dangerously on the road. Sort of puts that obnoxious “COEXIST” sticker in a whole new context, doesn’t it? The doctors found that things like fuzzy dice, stuffed toys, seat covers, and bumper stickers were all ways that drivers personalize their cars –...

Denver, CO (AHN) - With soaring gas prices, it is not surprising to hear that incidents of road rage are on the rise. A study by a Colorado State University social psychologist said there is a better predictor of road rage behavior among American motorists. According to William Szlemko, in his recent study published at the Journal of Applied Social Psychology, the more a driver has bumper stickers, window decals, personalized licensed plates and other territorial markers on his vehicle, the greater is his tendency to get mad when someone cuts into his lane. The road anger may be expressed...

Three horrors await Americans who get behind the wheel of a car for a family road trip this summer: the spiraling price of gas, choruses of "Are we there yet?"—and the road rage of fellow drivers. Divine intervention might be needed for the first two problems, but science has discovered a solution for the third: Watch out for cars with bumper stickers. That's the surprising conclusion of a recent study by Colorado State University social psychologist William Szlemko.

Looks like them gun-totin' and God-fearing Democrats of small town America have decided to tell the Kumbaya candidate where to put his arugula. Who woulda thunk that them country bumpkins actually have Al Gore's internet and know how to use it. /sarc All this group has right now is a bumper sticker for sale, but it's a start. Please share the link with your Democrat friends who say they won't vote for Obama.

Have a ton of witty sayings floating around your head? Dying to show off your Mad Photoshop Skilz? Can’t stand John McCain, yet refuse to vote for the other guy (girl)? Here’s your chance. Come up with the best bumper sticker for Mr. Default Candidate himself, John McCain and show your disdain for what the Republican Party has become.

I HAVE this visceral dislike of bumper-sticker moralisers. These are people who go out of their way to advertise what they take to be their own exalted moral sensibilities, but do so at no cost to themselves and without the messy business of having to weigh costs and benefits or to choose between stark alternatives where none is particularly pleasant or easy. It's all form and no substance for these people, and there's no shortage of them around. Take those who plaster "Save the Whales" stickers on the back of their cars but miss the irony that it's an upmarket...
