Finding out SNL is still alive is like finding out MTV is still alive. I thought they both died back in the late 80’s. And in a way they did.

I haven’t watched SNL in ages and have no intention to change my mind.

The Katie Hill fiasco was MADE for a SNL skit. Will they touch this? Hell no.

A congress critter naked with a bong? Come on SNL.

Progressives/leftists are adult children, intellectually stuck at thirteen years old, forever.

So, being progressives at SNL, theirs is puberty humor — Immature, shallow, mean.

I have no problems with some of them smoking dope. In fact, the governing body would probably do much less damage if most of the members spent their days shooting up smack and smoking crack. There would be naturally imposed term limits, too.

“My friend Kurt Schlichter often says, “they hate you.”

Colonel Schlicter is right. They hate us. If they thought they could get away with it they’d kill each and every one of us.

SNL ceased to exist...in my mind at least...after Belushi and Ackroyd left.

Been at least 20 years since I saw SNL - if not for FR, I wouldn’t know they were still around.

SNL is way past its “use by” date.

the writers and cast not only vote for Democrats, but range from confused, to amused, to downright contemptuous of much of the country who don’t see things their way politically.

It's always been that way, city slickers vs country bumpkins.

Granny Clampet had it about right...."City people!".

Big city communists played against normal rural Americans....you can see it clearly on the 2016 election map..

"Popular vote" my @$$.

The passing of Gilda Radner was the last nail in the coffin for original SNL. Even Jane Curtin in Kate & Allie had turned PC serious by then.

Nothing but late night Maoist guerrilla theater now. Death to capitalism, comrades!

I don’t, but Trump was funny when he was on in 2016 or whenever it was...

I tend to speed over the open on Sunday morning.

I was actually surprised at how goof Chance the Rapper was, but the overall writing on the shows pretty week.

I have to believe that at least some of the cast cringes when they read the crap they have to spew. And I have to believe they are experienced enough to feel the audience shrinking every week.

Rumor on the street is that the show will be cancelled long before Trump leaves the White House.

What I find ironic is the idea that some of them, at least those who can afford it, are building bolt-holes in places like New Zealand at the same time they are hurling insults. They're also on the gun control band wagon. Very telling.

On a related note, a couple of things I have been noticing since the Ukraine call went public along with Barr and Guiliani's trip overseas:
1. Guests on Fox talking about how wonderful the CIA is.
2. SNL making fun of those who might question the role of government agencies in trying to overturn the 2016 election
3. Calls for civility. Yes, this was going on prior to the Ukraine, but they seemed pretty hollow as local governments in places like Portland seemed to condone (if not outright support) the antics of Antifa. But post Ukraine, it might be my imagination but the sentiment behind the civility talk seems a little more serious.

Can't help but think of the phrase "whistling past the graveyard". Yes, just some random morning thoughts....btw, SNL, I suspect there is a lot of people who aren't laughing right now.

I have no problems with some of them smoking dope.

They are supposed to be public servants so I have a real problem with it. If this stupid < expletive deleted > was a Republican there would be no end to it on SNL.
