I don’t think that is the problem. Many on this board are so defensive that anything that could be interpreted as being critical of anything The President does is met with an immediate and at times irrational reaction. If it comes out that the President released a faked photo of him doing well when we are all worried about him I don’t see how that is a good thing. I don’t know if it is a fake or not which is actually part of the point I am making.

I have seen a number of Twitterverse comments regarding this is all being ‘faked.’ And I do think they have a legitimate observation.
First off, consider the images we know of, of the Presidential suite at Walter. Nothing in either of these photos harkens to those images.

President Trump has a highly contagious virus. Does anyone possibly consider he is in an isolation ward vs. the hard to decontaminate suites? Raise your hand if you think that is a possibility. I do. I think it is a strong possibility that it helps keep him safe and the entire hospital safe.
Are the photos staged? Absolutely!! They have to be staged because of the risk of contamination. Yes, he is there, yes he is likely working just as we see him. But, like the vast majority of covid patients...his visitors are doctors, not the White House Press. So when they want to get the message and image out that he is fine...and doing well...it has to be staged. I would have been more inclined to see him at a computer, but a conference table and paper are fine too.
I might ask has anyone bothered or are they able to bring him a change of clothes? Maybe the Secret Service is investigating something at the White House that precludes this? I am sure that suit and shirt are dry clean only, so a fresh set of clothing...golf shirt even...would be fine.
Stage photos...absolutely for a lot of common sense reason.
Even were he to just sign papers that doesnt mean its staged. Hes known to sign autographs sometimes, not just a couple to look good for the fans like some stars do, but for everyone at the meeting. If you dig around youll find a video of him visiting a fire station. Toward the end of the event he signs some signatures and as he walks away with those leading the event he says to various people that he is going to come back to sign some for them and jokes that its a form of tip or bonus in that “then you can sell it for $10000, or something .”
If the paper is blank that means nothing, it could just be Trump being Trump for the medical personnel.

For the President of the United State, hospitalized with symptoms of Covid19, even posing for a photo-op is WORKING. He’s re-assuring the people of the United States that he’s healthy and capable of being Commander-in-Chief, alert and with-it. He is showing the nation that he is not a death’s door. That is part of the job of being President.
I doubt the page the President signed was blank. It might be the final page of a multi-page document with a single line on it. But, so what if it was a blank page suggested by the photographer as part of the photo-shoot? He was STILL WORKING, not resting in an easy chair in the hospital’s Presidential Suite. President Trump was submitting himself to the requirements of the duties of the Office which he swore an oath to fulfill. He was doing his job.
Every president has his “bots” who think or want you to think the man can do no wrong and they try to paint or spin everything he does in a positive light. Those of us who’re not bots often have a better time with critical thinking and can often better see the pros and cons of actions and optics.
